These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Viatoria SAS ("Viatoria", "we", "us") and the traveller ("you") when you request, book or take part in a journey arranged by us. By confirming a booking you accept these terms.
1. Our role
Viatoria acts as a tour operator and travel organiser, assembling flights, accommodation, transfers and guided experiences into a single itinerary. Where individual services are operated by third parties, those services are also subject to the suppliers' own conditions of carriage or use.
2. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are valid for the period stated in the proposal and remain subject to availability until confirmed. A booking is confirmed once we issue a written confirmation and you have paid the deposit or full amount as set out in your quote.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted per person and itemise the included services. Unless stated otherwise, they exclude personal expenses, optional excursions and travel insurance. Prices may change before confirmation due to factors such as exchange rates or supplier charges; once your booking is confirmed, the agreed price is fixed except for unavoidable cost variations expressly permitted by law.
4. Changes and cancellation by you
Requests to change a confirmed booking will be accommodated where possible and may incur supplier charges. Cancellation terms depend on the services booked and are set out in your quote before you confirm. We recommend appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation and disruption.
5. Changes and cancellation by us
We plan every journey carefully, but occasionally a change is necessary. If we must make a significant change or cancel before departure, we will inform you promptly and offer, where possible, a comparable alternative or a refund of sums paid for the affected services.
6. Your responsibilities
- Hold a valid passport and any visas, permits or vaccinations required for your itinerary.
- Provide accurate traveller details and inform us of any condition that may affect your participation.
- Arrive on time for scheduled services and follow reasonable instructions from guides and suppliers.
7. Liability
We accept responsibility for arranging the services in your confirmed itinerary with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for failures attributable to you, to a third party unconnected with the services, or to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, tell your guide or local contact straight away so we can put it right. Any unresolved matter should be raised with us in writing within a reasonable time after you return.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
